That’s right, back in 2005 Uva opened its doors as a Wine Bar - an idea that was greeted with confusion but enthusiasm. It’s hard to believe that was once a novel concept, but back then, it was. Wines, endless wines, delicious small plates, late nights, and secret back gardens and wine rooms were all part of the opening package that the Upper East Side fell in love with.
The idea took off quickly and grew, with the menu expanding to encompass larger dishes and the iconic entrees that Uva is now known for.
With little sister, Uva Next Door, joining the ranks in 2021, and speakeasy cocktail lounge Keys & Heels opening Spring 2022, the energy and charisma of the In Tune Hospitality Group continues to expand, becoming one of the most exciting and treasured restaurant blocks in New York City.
